Off to session the bomber track
off to have a session at the bomber track and maybe get some photos done, The winds blowing hard here on exmoor but the suns out and it should be fun riding with JW for the first time.
update in the next few days, as for the last few weeks.. Had a killer cold and then once that had passed i went to my woods at cove, But i was not loving it, Slow going on the wet soil and called it a day early, Few days later went to the bomber track on the azonic, First ride and had a good hour and found some fun stuff and loved riding the track again.

Madison acquires Saracen!
Distributor to re-launch brand for 2010
Madison has announced that it has secured the purchase of the Saracen brand and all related intellectual property.Saracen, the company, will continue to trade as normal until the end of March 2009 following which it will bring the business to a close.Rick Stanforth, chairman of Saracen, commented: “23 years and over a million bikes is a phenomenal achievement. What pleases us most is that we are handing Saracen over to an organisation that is incredibly well placed to further develop the brand. It’s been a huge part of our lives and we’re looking forward to watching the brand continue to grow during the next stages of the brand’s ongoing development.”Madison will now aim to develop the brand with investment, including building a new design team with an emphasis on engineering, technical excellence and customer support.

SW EXTREME BIKE (build part 1)
With the 4x, freeride/shore park just under an hour away, i felt like i should make it one of my main spots for 09, so a SWE bike was needed.. the build has started.
Big props to hotlines-uk the importer/distro and my oneal sponsor for sorting me out with some of the parts, The frames bang on the buck for what i need, low slung, low weight yet can take a more freeride fork and the big hits that a pure 4x rig can not.

Tracy Moseley Signs With New Trek World Cup Team
1.12.2008
December 1, 2008: Granada, Spain. Today the speculation on the 6 rider line up for the new Trek sponsored World Cup program reaches a conclusion with the announcement that 29 year old Tracy Moseley from near Malvern in the UK has signed up to ride a Session 88 from January 1, 2009. Tracy is one of the greatest downhillers in the sport's history and has a place in a very exclusive club of only 5 downhill riders, male or female, to have won 10 or more World Cup races in their career. Tracy has won her 10 World Cup races between 2002 and 2008, with two of those victories taking place in the past season at the Fort William and Canberra rounds. Tracy joins World #5 Justin Leov (NZL), and South African Andrew Neethling, as well as XC team mates Lukas and Mathias Flueckiger (SUI), and fellow countryman (and near neighbor), Liam Killeen. On the announcement, Tracy said today: "I am really excited to have this great opportunity to ride on a new exciting bike from 2009, and with a great team around me to give me all the support I'll need to further improve. I'm also really happy to have 2 great guys to ride with as I believe that is really important for my ongoing development as a racer. These three things combined, the new bike, the team support and my team mates, will make a big difference to me." Team Director Martin Whiteley says: "It's a thrill for us to be able to announce Tracy in our line up. We've been excited about the idea of having 3 DH riders and even more so to be back in the game of women's DH racing. With the growing interest brought on by web coverage like Freecaster.tv in 2009, it's clear that women's World Cup racing will continue to get more competitive and exciting. Tracy showed everyone what she can do on the physically demanding and pedalling courses like Fort William and Canberra this past season, and looking at 2009's venues, Tracy will be well positioned for a great season with us on her new Trek Session 88 DH." Trek Mountain Bike Brand Manager Michael Browne says: "Trek is extremely happy to have Tracy Moseley join the ranks of the DH roster. Her world-class performances and professional manner are a perfect match to the existing roster, one which Trek is excited to expand beyond a men's-only team. Trek is confident that Moseley will fulfill her greatest potential aboard the Session 88 DH in the 2009 season." Co-sponsors for the team are coming together rapidly and 23 Degrees will be in a position to announce those in the next couple of weeks.
