this week kicked off the mid week summer series of races at haldon forest, i turned up at lunch time got in a 3hour xc ride and then hit the xc race, no big shock that i was blowing hard come mid race and dumped a ton of spots on the last lap, no results in yet? will post in a future blog, Today its the Barnstorm, This is a bike race (20",24",26",29") race around a mx supercross track, looks to be a bit of a 2min sprint race for the 29er crew, but we will see how it goes, fun to mix things up.

Sporting a Renthal ring now, gone from a 32 Middleburn up to a 34 tooth.. Also switched it up to the Lopes MRP.

I have a few XC style events coming up so i have the Elite ride KORE bars on right now, 242g yet real strong. Hope to test some Durox bars later this summer as i like my bars wider and lower for more trail/all-mtn. Grips are SENSUS from Rider Run Co.

Im trying the Kore b1b stem right now, running a short 50mm size, Looks to be a great all-mtn trail stem and i like its no frills clean lines.

This is the Distance saddle from Kore-USA, comes in at 270g, 285mm long and 140mm wide at the widest part, Clean lines and a real nice all day trail and all-mtn saddle.

Kore update : Elbry joins KORE-USA

Kore goods are starting to drop and the first test products are on the rigs.. This saddles called the "big nose" comes in at 248grams and lets you weight the middle/front of the bike more in G-out type berms etc, Early days but so far im liking it a lot after rocking small bmx style saddle for the last few years.

Testing some prototype grips right now that come in at about 100g,

The Kore Saddle does not have standard rails, but runs on Kores T-rail seat post system, Im 100% sold on it, very much like a SDG system, but seems to be quicker and simpler to fit, and the alloy rail seems a better design.

Proto sealed plastic pedals, Loving these on my pump track bike, crazy low weight, grips as well as any metal pedal and in there first week we have had a pump track win on them!
